AMERIgreen Calls for Student-Created Energy Solutions Videos
Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based wholesale energy provider to the Mid-Atlantic and New England, AMERIgreen Energy, and its 100% American Fuel dealers throughout PA, MD and DE are hosting a Video Essay Challenge.
Students are invited to express their views on energy solutions for the future in a 30 second video. Prompt questions are supplied focusing on energy source and solutions for the future.
The contest begins April 17th and is open to students in grades 6th -12th, and undergraduate college students in the dealers’ regions. College scholarships will be awarded to the winning High school and undergraduate college students. Middle school winners will receive special location ticket packs.
An AMERIgreen panel will select the Top 5 videos from all the submissions in both age groups. These videos will be posted on AMERIgreen’s website where votes are cast. The student video receiving the most votes will be the contest winner.

They made us really encouraged and hopeful, ” said Steve McCracken, AMERIgreen CEO of Energy Services. “We also want to thank our participating100% American fuel dealers for garnering community support from area schools, teachers and customers to encourage students to enter the contest. We are excited to see this year’s entries.”
